All that glitters is not necessarily gold. It can also be steel, enamel, glass or even bits of seashell. 13FOREST Gallery proves the point this spring with Sharp Objects . This group show features metal sculpture by Mireille Clapp, mosaic mirrors by Ariel Finelt Shoemaker, and contemporary stained glass by Kate Gakenheimer . Although they work in different media, each of the artists in Sharp Objects finds inspiration in the play of solid and void and the beautiful oddities of absorbed and refracted light.
